Blackout
Blackout dates are unbookable dates and can be added and removed from single units and pitches via the chart.
Find the unit to blackout. You can either click on the first day and drag along to cover the date(s) you want, or click on the first day and enter the number of nights on the bubble that appears. Then click blackout.

You have the option to give the blackout a hover over note and colour if required. If you don’t need this info then leave the fields blank and then click confirm. Your blackout is saved and the pitch cannot be booked.

Removing Blackout Dates
Highlight the dates that are already blacked out and a remove blackouts popup will appear. When clicked the blackout will be removed and the plot will be bookable online again.

Adding a Bulk Blackout
At the top of the chart you will find a bulk blackout wizard option.

When clicked this will bring up a popup to add / remove blackouts.

To add a blackout, the blackout wizard can be run on the following parameters:
Stay Type:
You can select all stay types or just the one specific stay type.
Unit/Pitch Type:
The unit pitch type option will update depending on the selected stay types in option one.
Plot:
This option will update depending on the plots selected on stay types. If all stay types are selected you can add all plots, or if just the pods are selected you will be asked to select which pods this applies to.
Start Date:
This is the date the blackout will start from.
End Date:
This is the date the blackout will end.
Optional Reason:
If you want to give the blackouts a reason (hover over text) you can enter this here and it will add it to all rows.
Colour:
You can give the blackouts a specific colour and it will add it to all rows.

When you are happy with the configuration of the blackout wizard you can select go and the system will configure the blackouts and add them in. The system will tell you it is working on adding the blackouts:

Then, when the function is complete, the wizard will ask you to reload the chart to see the blackouts created.

The system will then add in the blackouts you have asked it to and work around any bookings already in the system. This means if there are bookings it place it will black out the dates around it:

Removing a Bulk Blackout
To remove a bulk blackout you run the pop out in the same way as you add them, by selecting the plots, start and end date.
When done you then want to tick the option to clear blackouts:

The system will tell you in the same way the chart is loading and it will notify you when it is done.
When the function has been completed you should reload your chart and the blackouts will be removed.
