Set up Housekeeping in GemaPark
GemaPark allows plots to have housekeepers assigned who can then log in and see a dedicated dashboard screen showing them arrival and departure information only for the units they have been assigned.
The Housekeepers dashboard is a templated page, like the main dashboard, so fields can be added or removed to suit your requirements. This template needs to be setup by Netguides so please contact us to have this added.
Set up a housekeeper
You can set up a housekeeper user under the users page.
They need to be assigned the role of housekeeper and can either be exclusively a housekeeper, or a housekeeper and another role if required.
If the user is exclusively a housekeeper then when they log in they will only see the housekeeper dashboard for the units they need to clean and won’t have access to any other GemaPark functionality.
Assign a housekeeper
Housekeepers should be assigned to the plots you need them to view info for. This could be a one off job if you have a regular housekeeper or you may do this each cleaning day to allocate the plots that need cleaning to the housekeepers coming in.
There are two ways to assign a housekeeper. You can assign an individual housekeeper to the plot via the chart using the bubble against the cleaning functionality:

Use the housekeeper dropdown to select the housekeeper and then press save to store that information.
You can also assign housekeepers via the dashboard or a dedicated report which is a bit quicker as you can just select the housekeeper in the dropdown and the page will auto save the changes for you.

Multiple Dashboards
If you are using housekeeper functionality you will also be using multiple dashboards because you will at least have one for the housekeeper and the main one. You switch between dashboards by using the new template dropdown you will see at the top of the Dashboard page.
You can have as many different dashboards as you want in GemaPark, each with their own template determining the columns and available functionality and each can be assigned to the specific user roles of Housekeeper, User, Admin, Manager, SysAdmin.
Identifying units to clean
The clean status dropdown has 4 options:
Dirty
Clean
Checked
Second Checked.
You can manually set the clean status of any plot using either the dashboard or the chart and the dropdown.
When a customer has been checked out via the dashboard, this can be set to automatically set the clean status to dirty if it’s visible on the same dashboard.
Housekeepers’ login
When the housekeeper logs in to the system, they will see the housekeepers dashboard with the daily arrivals and departures on:

The dashboard is fully customisable for the Housekeepers and so they can see a different template to the GemaPark dashboard. When you need this setting up we will create the report template to meet your requirements so you should think about what extras the dashboard needs to show to enable Housekeeping to get the unit ready.
